The price is based on the exact net metal content determined through lab analysis. We pay for the pure metal share according to current market prices, less processing costs.
Do you buy contaminated turnings or sludges? +
Yes. We buy powders, turnings, sludges, furnace linings, and alloys. Settlement is based on representative sampling, drying, and determination of the metal content.
What is the minimum quantity for purchase? +
Due to the high material value, we buy solid scrap and capacitors starting at around 10–20 kg. For high-purity powders or rare alloy sections, we also analyze smaller quantities.
How long does the material analysis and settlement take? +
A fast XRF screening of solid scrap is done on the day of delivery. A more involved wet-chemical digestion (ICP-OES) of inhomogeneous sludges, powders, or alloys typically takes 3 to 5 business days.
